Business Development Partner (Future Co-Owner)
About the Consultancy
A strategy-driven international media and marketing consultancy built on one principle: perception shapes performance.
Founded by an International Strategy & Brand Consultant and former CEO and CMO — the firm has helped leaders and organizations, including Savji Dholakia and Hari Krishna Exports, strengthen strategy, perception, performance, and sustainability impact across Asia.
We are entering a growth stage and seeking a Business Development Partner to expand the client base, shape business direction, and grow alongside us as a future co-owner. (More about the consultancy entity will be shared during the dialogue.)
The Opportunity
This is not a salaried role. It is a partnership for an entrepreneurial professional who wants to co-build a global consultancy with proven foundations.
Engagement begins commission-based for the first three clients, then transitions to equity or co-ownership once results are demonstrated.
Assessment is based on collaboration, initiative, and measurable client acquisition, not a traditional job interview or KPIs.
Role Overview
As Business Development Partner, you will:
- Lead client acquisition, networking, and outreach initiatives across Asia.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects: executives, founders, and decision-makers seeking strategy and brand transformation.
- Conduct strategic conversations, qualify leads, and coordinate with the Principal Consultant on proposals and closing.
- Contribute to business growth strategy by shaping how the consultancy scales, which markets to target, and how services evolve.
- Represent the consultancy with professionalism and consistency in all client-facing interactions.
What We Are Looking For
- Experienced in B2B or consulting-level sales, preferably within marketing, communications, or strategy.
- An entrepreneurial thinker who looks beyond short-term commissions and invests effort into building a sustainable enterprise.
- A confident communicator who can engage founders, executives, and senior decision-makers.
- Self-driven, ethical, and disciplined in follow-ups, networking, and relationship-building.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing business development systems independently.
- Someone who loves traveling, meeting people, and thrives in a flexible, purpose-driven lifestyle free from the traditional 9–5.
- Location plus: Good if you’re already based in Bali, Bangkok, or Kuala Lumpur. Not required though.
