Dr. Gaspar is one of the renowned speakers in region 8 of the Philippines. He has spoken in the biggest colleges and universities in the region since 2015. He is regularly invited to share best practices on Youth Development, train government and non-government employees on Personal Effectiveness, and serve as consultant on the formulation and review of annual plans, among others.

Dr. Jhay Gaspar is a Filipino Climate Justice advocate who served as a humanitarian and development worker since the strongest typhoon Haiyan hit their region. His over 8 years of experience in Youth Development Work has resulted in him leading the global workforce of the 2022 Regional Conference of Youth – Asia and the Pacific (RCOY-APAC). Hosted in his hometown in the Philippines, RCOY-APAC gathered over 600 international and local climate leaders. Its output was presented to the 17th UN Conference of Youth in Egypt and will be presented to the 2023 United Nations Water Conference in New York.
He is the brain behind the award-winning Youth Development Programs in Ormoc City and the founder of several accomplished youth movements. He represented the Philippines during the 16th Conference of Youth and 26th Climate Change Conference in the United Kingdom, as well as in the Dushanbe Water Process in Tajikistan. He recently led the Research, Editorial, and Communications Team of YOUNGO and UN1FY in the 17th UN Conference of Youth and 27th UN Climate Change Conference in Egypt.
Dr. Gaspar holds a Public Administration PhD and finished post-doctorate study centered on Climate Risk Planning for Sustainable Development in the University of the Philippines, with High Distinction. He also earned degrees in IT, Event Management, Life Coaching, and Data Science.
He is a research consultant, award-winning journalist, university instructor, financial advisor, and first-aid instructor. Currently, Dr. Jhay leads the Communications Team of United International Federation of Youth (UN1FY). He advocates the use of leadership and influence to achieve youth development and attain climate justice.
